We’re reaching out to share an important update to our boarding routine. Our goal has always been to provide a safe, structured, and positive experience for every dog in our care, and these changes are designed to support that commitment while allowing us to continue growing in a sustainable way.

What’s Changing Starting July 27th:

• Boarding dogs who are eligible for daycare will now receive 2 hours of group play each day at no additional charge, with the option to upgrade to all-day daycare for more playtime and socialization at a flat rate of $12 per day, per dog. This can be added daily, on alternating days, or on select days of your choice. Dogs not enrolled in all-day daycare will still receive their included 2 hours of group play at no additional charge, scheduled based on drop-off time and staff discretion.

• All-day daycare is not available on Sundays. All eligible boarding dogs will participate in afternoon group play on Sundays. All-day daycare is also not available to add onto your pickup day, but dogs will still enjoy their included 2 hours of group play.

• We are no longer accepting drop-off daycare on Sundays. We will remain open for boarding drop-off and pickup, and our boarding guests will continue to enjoy afternoon pack play. However, Sunday daycare services will no longer be available.

What’s Staying the Same:

• Daycare-only dogs are not affected by this change Monday through Saturday.

• Boarding rates are not increasing.

• Your dog(s) will continue to receive the same attentive care, supervision, potty breaks, and personalized attention you know and trust.

Why We’re Making This Change:
As we’ve grown, we’ve taken a closer look at how to best balance the quality of care we provide with a sustainable structure for both our dogs and our team. We found that having all boarding and daycare dogs participating in daycare at the same time created large groups, especially during peak periods. By structuring play sessions, we’re able to keep groups smaller, more controlled, and safer. We’ve also found that not every dog thrives in all-day group play, and this allows for a better balance of play and rest. All-day daycare is still available as an option for dogs who enjoy extended play.

This adjustment allows us to:

• Keep group sizes smaller and more manageable.

• Provide more structured, intentional playtime.

• Reduce overstimulation and fatigue, which can lead to behavioral issues.

Most importantly, this helps us continue delivering a safe, calm, and positive experience for every dog. Even with these changes, boarding dogs at Pups Paradise will continue to receive more included play and socialization than what is offered by many traditional boarding facilities.

Drop-Off and Pickup Day Details:

Staff will begin asking for pickup and drop-off times when scheduling your boarding stay. Please provide times as accurately as possible, as this helps us create smaller, safer, and more appropriately structured play groups throughout the day. Accurate timing also helps ensure your dog is placed in the correct play session. When booking through Gingr, we kindly ask that you select the most accurate pickup and drop-off times available.

Drop-Off Day:

• All-day daycare may be added on the day of drop-off. We recommend dropping your dog(s) off before 9:00 AM if you’d like all-day daycare on check-in day, so they can enjoy the full day of play!

• If all-day daycare is not added on drop-off day, dogs will join either the morning or afternoon play group depending on drop-off time, and staff discretion.

• If all-day daycare is added after 9:00 AM, dogs will join all-day play from their time of arrival until 3:00 PM at the standard flat rate of $12.

Pickup Day:

• All-day daycare is not available on pickup days; however, dogs will still enjoy their included 2 hours of group play.

• Please ensure your pickup time is accurate. Staff will place dogs in either the morning or afternoon play group based on the provided pickup time, so accurate timing is important to ensure your dog receives their full allotted 2 hours of play.
